Kenya Army Banish Somalia Militants

Kenya sends troops to expel militant group Al-Shabaab of two headquarters near Kenya-Somalia border. The reason is because the delivery of the Al-Shabaab accused of kidnapping several foreigners in Kenya.

"We launched an air attack on the headquarters of Al-Shabaab near Afmadow yesterday evening and today. Now we headed Afmadow since the militant group on the way," said senior Kenyan military officers, Abdi Yusuf, as quoted by Al Jazeera, Sunday, October 16, 2011.



Kenyan military spokesman Alfred Mutua confirmed it by saying its forces had entered southern Somalia to fight.

Overwhelmed by the invasion of Kenya Army, a militant group linked to al-Qaeda network is calling on the Somali people to also give resistance. "The soldiers Kenya borders Somalia to break into our country, but if God wills, they will come out with empty hands," said a senior leader, Sheikh Hassan Al-Shabaab Turkey.

According to them, Kenyan soldiers are bloodthirsty enemies who violate boundaries at will. Therefore, only natural that they ask all the people of Somalia, particularly the militants, to unite, repel the soldiers.

Several witnesses reported seeing soldiers milling about in the border regions of Kenya. Many new soldiers were also seen entering the border area.
