Steve Jobs and Bill Gates Praise Each Other

The expression of grief over the death of the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs also presented rival, Bill Gates. For years, Gates shared Microsoft was competing in the computer industry by Jobs and Apple.
Although a competitor, Gates admitted good friends with Steve Jobs. "Steve and I first met about 30 years ago. We have since become colleagues, competitors, and friends," Gates said, as quoted from the pages of The Wall Street Journal.



Not only that, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs has ever delivered compliments each other while flying in a single stage. In an interview D5, which was held pages All Things Digital technology in 2007, Gates gave his view of Jobs, and vice versa.
At that time, Jobs called the Bill Gates as an important figure in the software industry. In the eyes of Steve Jobs, Bill Gates is the man who first made the software as an industry.
"I think he (Bill Gates) built the first software company before anyone in the industry who know what it is we live software company," said Steve Jobs.
"I think the biggest thing is, Bill is very focused with the software before almost anybody else had a clue that it is software," continued Jobs.
Meanwhile, Bill Gates praised the work of Steve Jobs, who has developed the PC industry since the '70s. With the Apple II computer products, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates thought to bring a separate phenomenon.
"What Steve has done is quite phenomenal. And if you look back to 1977, with the Apple II computer, the idea that it would be mass-produced machine, is betting that Apple's unique - just like their products," said Bill Gates praised Steve Jobs.
"But, the idea (Apple II) that later became a great phenomenon of exceptional, Apple is realizing that dream," continued Gates.
In an interview guided Wall Street Journal reporter (All Things Digital media is owned by the Wall Street Journal) Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher, both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs looks very relaxed.
