Arsenal captain Ban Shutter Szczesny

Arsenal's number one goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny aiming for the captain's armband following the departure of several star players Meriam London. Currently, it carried the rank of honorable Robin Van Persie.

Van Persie received the captain's armband for the Gunners after Cesc Fabregas off to Barcelona. However, no details as to the future of Van Persie, wants the Polish goalkeeper is getting thicker.



Van Persie is not yet signed a contract extension that will expire in 2013. The reason it makes a new goalkeeper aged 21 years was very ambitious to become a leader in Arsene Wenger.

"I feel that when I say something, all the players listened to me. Especially when on the field than when in the locker room, but instead it's more important," said Szczesny to Skysport.

"I want to captain the team and I feel able to carry out the task well," added the goalkeeper who brought Arsene Wenger's young team Legia Warsaw.

Since imported in 2009, Wojciech Szczesny was loaned out to Brentford during the season. Now he has defended a total of Arsenal in 22 matches. Goalkeeper height 195 centimeters (cm) was also the top choice in the Polish national team.
