Typhoon Nesat Hit China, 300,000 Displaced

After killing 39 people in the Philippines, typhoon Nesat this time in action in southern China on Thursday, September 29, 2011. Hundreds of thousands of people forced to flee to avoid the collapse of more victims.

Reporting from the CNN news station, the Chinese government has evacuated 300,000 people in Hainan province. The government also ordered the ships to dock, ferry crossings and flights were canceled, when it rains accompanied by strong winds hit the town and surrounding Wengitan.



Typhoon Nesat a diameter of 650 kilometers and the speed of 150 km per hour will be the largest hurricane ever to hit China. Prior to this country, Nesat typhoon caused severe damage in the Philippines. In addition to killing 39 people, this storm also injured 43 others. Meanwhile, 31 people still missing.

A total of 40 regions in the Philippines in a state of alert, including the capital Manila. A total of 680,000 residents were affected. More than 120 people were rescued from their homes. Some areas in Manila and surrounding provinces dark, destructive path due to wind power.

Philippines has not been able to calm the public after the passage of Nesat. Because the tropical cyclone forecast Nalgae will also hit the country on Saturday. It is feared Nalgae can also cause flooding and landslides.
