China Preparing to Send Rocket into Space Again

China again preparing to launch rockets into space. This time the rocket was unmanned and is scheduled to slide on Tuesday morning, November 1, 2011.

According to China Daily, citing a local official space agency, Shenzhou-8 rocket will be launched in the southwest region of the Gobi Desert at 5:58 pm local time. Wu Ping, China's space agency officials, revealed that they invited colleagues from the European Space Agency and the German Space Center to witness the launch in person.



"This year, we plan to launch 20 rockets and 25 satellites. The amount that will make China ranks second after Russia," said Yuan Jiajun, deputy general manager of China Aerospace and Technology Corp..

According to news agency Xinhua, the Shenzhou-8 mission is to meet with Tiangong-1 rocket was in outer space since 29 September 2011. Both the rocket will be pursued mutually connected (docking test) in the framework of the project of making the space station buata China. The project is targeted for completion in 2020.

The next stage, is planned in 2012, is sending some rockets again and one of them will carry astronauts. "Next year, we will launch the Shenzhou 9 and 10. Both the rocket joins will undergo docking test with Tiangong 1," said Wu Ping was quoted as saying by Reuters.

"As planned, at least one of the two missions next year it will be manned [astronauts]," said Wu.
