The Transitional National Spokesperson Libya, Anis Sharif claimed it had surrounded the former Libyan leader, Moammar Gaddafi. But he was reluctant to mention where the location of the Gaddafi today.
Anis asserted, Gaddafi was still in the area of Libya, and has been traced using advanced technology. Rebel forces, said Anis has taken a position on all the sites that allegedly occupied by Gaddafi.
"He can not get out. We've been preparing for deciding to detain or kill him. We were just playing with him," said Anis as reported by the Associated Press on Wednesday 7th of September 2011.
Meanwhile, the NATO said it had made a number of airstrikes in Sirte - hometown Gaddafi, on Tuesday, September 6 yesterday, hitting six tanks, six armored fighting vehicles, and ammunition storage facilities. In addition to attacking hometown Gaddafi, NATO also targeted Gaddafi loyalists attacked the stronghold of the Huns, and Waddan Sabha.
According to the Council of Deputy Defence Minister, Mohammad Gaddafi Tanaz not know of the existence today. He suspected the fugitive was still able to hide in tunnels under the Tripoli. It is currently not think too much about the former leader was rather focused on taking control of territory.
